Siamo andati alla Villa Pontificia...
Dopo una
settimana di lavoro a scuola e con i libri a casa, i ‘nuovi romani’ continuano
a scoprire la bellezza del paese. Nel giorno di Festa di Maria Assunta la
comunità dello scolasticato, presente in questo tempo a Roma, è andata a
Castelgandolfo. Sempre in macchina e sempre con il superiore come guida e
autista… Un bellissimo panorama del lago, il centro della città, il gusto dei
gelati e del pranzo a sacco rimarrà per sempre come il ricordo di questa
bellissima giornata festiva. Wojciech

Ma era chiusa e vuota!
Encore une
nouvelle découverte. Après avoir célébré la messe de l’Assomption avec toute la
Maison générale, nous avons fait toute suite une ascension touristique vers la
Résidence papale appelée communément Castelgandolfo. Accompagnés toujours par
notre Supérieur, nous avons visité la petite ville située à une trentaine de
kilomètre de Rome. Il parait que autre fois le Pape venait pour la célébration
du 15 aout, mais hélas, cette année nous n’avons même pas vu les traces du
Pape. Nous avons guetté en vain; parce que cette tradition n’a jamais existé
pas dans l’agenda du Pape François. Omdel Dieurnoudji
Andiamo verso il Lago Albano...
Un sábado más, a pesar de ser una
solemnidad mariana tan importante como la Asunción y una fiesta tan italiana
como la Ferragosto, a pesar de la amenaza de lluvia, los nuevos escolásticos
salieron de excursión, no sin antes participar en la Misa solemne de la casa
general. La meta esta vez era Castelgandolfo, lugar tradicionalmente veraniego
del Obispo de Roma, hasta el papa Francisco que interrumpió la tradición. La
parroquia del lugar está dedicada a la Asunción de María y el Papa desde hacía
unos años presidía en ella la solemne Eucaristía, pero no este año, lo cual
decepcionó un poco a algún escolástico. Volvieron contentos por haber visto
desde arriba el lago Albano (no bajaron por miedo a la lluvia) así como la
panorámica de los Castelli Romani. Joaquín

Ed era pieno e meraviglioso!
The day welcomed us
with a heavy shower and we thought that our small picnic would be cancelled.
But our prayers were heard and the journey began towards Castel Gandolfo. This
day is of a significance; because of the feast the Assumption of Mother Mary,
the popes regularly visit this place and of course, say mass and stay here as
their summer residence and it also remains as a vacation retreat for the Popes.
But this time the traditions were changed. We were lucky enough to visit on
this particular day. This village is beautified by a lake called
Lake Albano. We all were marveled at the nature that always draws people
towards it. We feel like going back again and stay at the side of the lake;
because of its silence and calmness that gave us the attraction. Let us learn
to love the nature and cherish it because it always reflects the best of God’s
creation. A very big thanks to our Superior whose initiative is of a direction
