Questi tre giovani Oblati hanno fatto la loro professione perpetua a Roma, nella cappella della casa generalizia, il primo maggio 2014. La celebrazione, preparata con cura, è stata dignitosa e solenne. Ha presieduto la Messa e ha ricevuto i voti p. Louis Lougen, Superiore generale, accompagnato da più di cinquanta sacerdoti concelebranti, tra cui Mons. Michael Pfeifer OMI, vescovo di San Angelo,Texas, e una grande partecipazione di fedeli. Tra loro tanti consacrati di diverse famiglie religiose, compagni di scuola dei Oblati perpetui e / o amici della comunità. Dopo la Messa, la mensa e la tradizionale festa di famiglia, con un flash, power point, per evocare il profilo storico per fare festeggiamenti in onore dei tre, che hanno ringraziato tutti i partecipanti chiedendo delle preghiere. Durante i tre giorni di preparazione immediata, i tre avevano condiviso la loro esperienza vocazionale con le tre comunità oblate di via Aurelia 290. Speriamo di poter pubblicare un breve riassunto di queste testimonianze personali. In fine, diamo di cuore le nostre più calde congratulazioni ai tre per questo passo decisivo nella loro vita di speciale consacrazione. Amal, Paul e Suja, tanti auguri!

Paul, Suja y Amal: estos tres jóvenes oblatos hicieron su profesión
perpetua en Roma, capilla de la casa general, el 1º de mayo de 2014. La
celebración, cuidadosamente preparada, fue digna y solemne. Presidió la Eucaristía
y recibió los votos el P. Louis Lougen, Superior general, que estuvo acompañado
de más de 50 sacerdotes concelebrantes, entre ellos un obispo, Mons. Miguel Pfeifer OMI, obispo de San Angelo,Texas, y
una numerosa asistencia de fieles, entre los que abundaban los consagrados y consagradas
de diversas familias religiosas, condiscípulos de los nuevos oblatos perpetuos
y/o amigos de la comunidad. Y tras la Misa, la mesa y la tradicional fiesta de
familia, en la que se proyectó un flash en power point para evocar la semblanza
de los homenajeados, quienes dieron las gracias a todos los asistentes pidiédoles oraciones para su perseverancia. Durante
el triduo de preparación inmediata, los tres habían compartido su experiencia vocacional
con las tres comunidades oblatas de vía Aurelia 290. Esperamos poder publicar
un breve resumen de esos testimonios personales. Desde aquí damos la más cordial
enhorabuena a los tres por este paso trascendental en su vida de especial consagración. Amal, Paul y Suja, ¡enhorabuena!
La cappella della casa generalizi era piena
Paul, Suja y Amal: These three young Oblates made
their
perpetual profession in Rome, in the chapel of the Generalate, on 1st
of May, 2014. The Celebration was well prepared, beautifully animated and
solemn. The Superior General presided over the Mass and received the vows of
the three brothers. In attendance were more than fifty concelebrants, including
Bishop Michael Pfeifer, OMI Bishop of San Angelo TX, and a large participation
of the faithful. Also present were many consecrated persons of different
religious families, classmates of the three Oblates who professed their
perpetual vows and friends of the community. After Mass, a festival meal was
served to everyone and then followed by the traditional get together feast for
the brothers. As the celebrations continued, clips of power point were
presented to give a glimpse of the historical profile of the three brothers
showing how far they have come in their vocations. They also took some time to
thank all those who came over to support them during this special event. Three
days before the Vow Day, the three brothers took turns in sharing their
vocational experiences with the three Oblate communities of Via Aurelia 290. We
hope to publish a brief summary of these personal testimonies presented by the
three brothers. Finally, we give our heartfelt congratulations to the three
brothers for this decisive step in their life of special consecration to the
Lord and the Congregation. Once more, all the very best to Amal, Paul and
Suja!!!
P. Generale pronuncia una bellissima omelia...
Paul, Suja y Amal: Ces trois jeunes Oblats
ont fait leur profession perpétuelle à Rome, chapelle de la maison générale, le
1er mai 2014. Une célébration soigneusement préparée, qui a été digne et solennelle.
Le P. Louis Lougen, Supérieur général, a présidé l’Eucharistie et
il a reçu les vœux. Il a été accompagné par plus d’une cinquantaine de prêtres
concélébrants, dont un évêque, Mgr Michael Pfiefer OMI, évêque de
San Angelo, Texas, avec une nombreuse participation des fidèles; parmi eux,
beaucoup de consacrés appartenant à de différentes familles religieuses,
compagnons de classe de nouveaux Oblats perpétuels et/ou amis de notre
communauté. Et après la Messe, le diner et la fête de la famille déjà
traditionnelle, avec un flash en power point pour évoquer l'itinéraire
vocationnel des trois candidats, qui ont remercié tous les participants en se
recommandant à leurs prières. Pendant les trois jours de préparation immédiate
pour cet événement, ils nous avaient partagé leurs expériences. Nous attendons
de pouvoir publier un bref résumé de ces témoignages personnels.
