Mons. Guillermo STECKLING, OMI, desde hace pocos meses nuevo
Obispo de Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, en su breve permanencia en Roma para
visitar al Papa, ha pasado unas horas con la comunidad del IRS el jueves
12.02.2015. Nos ha presidido la Eucaristía, le obsequiamos con una cena
multicultural preparada por los escolásticos y después hemos tenido con él un
animado coloquio sobre la delicada misión que el Papa le ha confiado. También
nos habló de su experiencia como Oblato y particularmente como Superior general.
Le prometimos rezar por él y por su diócesis.

nommé évêque de Ciudad del Este, au Paraguay, dans son bref séjour à Rome pour
rendre visite au Pape, a passé quelques heures avec la communauté del IRS jeudi
12/02/2015. Il a présidé l'Eucharistie et nous lui avons
offert un dîner multiculturel préparé par les scolastiques et puis nous avons
eu une discussion animée avec lui au sujet de la délicate mission que le Pape
lui a confié. Eh bien nous avons parlé de son expérience comme Oblat et en particulier
comme Supérieur Général. Nous lui avons promis de prier pour lui et son
diocèse.
Bishop Guillermo STECKLING, OMI, the new Bishop of Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, in his short stay in Rome to visit Pope Francis, spent a few hours with the IRS community on Thursday, 02/12/2015. He presided at the Eucharist, and then we invited him to dinner with us. The scholastics prepared a multicultural delicious meal and then we had an interesting conversation with him about the delicate mission that the Pope entrusted to him a few months ago and on his previous experiences as an Oblate, especially as Superior General. We promised to pray for him and for the immense diocese entrusted to him.
